Essential Job Functions

Required Qualifications

  • High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of general office experience or one year of office or customer service experience in a healthcare setting; OR equivalent education/experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain valid CPR certification within 30 days of appointment.
  • Work knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
  • Able to obtain and maintain required vaccinations for healthcare workers exposed to patients as defined by the CDC; OR provide record of blood serum titre.
  • Able to work independently, ensuring effective use of time including prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and use of technology skills.
  • Able to work with the public, including in mobile and/or community settings.
  • Able to effectively communicate with patients and their families.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One (1) year of working in the healthcare field.
  • Six (6) months previous experience in a healthcare setting working with an Electronic Health record (EHR) such as Athena.

Additional Information

The screening of applicants begins July 20, 2026. This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.

Pay

Monthly Salary: $3,485 to $4,633 | Range 38 | Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28. In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.
