About the role

The Patient Services Representative position at IVF Florida in Coral Gables, Florida is available immediately. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with the option to float to the Pembroke Pines office as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and visitors to the office
  • Answer and assist all incoming telephone calls
  • Schedule appointments using a computerized scheduling system and conduct follow-up calls when necessary
  • Provide timely and accurate information and quality customer service to incoming patient inquiries
  • Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal, financial, and insurance information

Requirements

  • High school diploma; Associates degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital or medical office setting
  • Extensive knowledge of insurance/benefits, medical terminology, and medical billing
  • Women's health, OB/GYN, or Fertility experience preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of office procedures and office machines (i.e. computer, fax, copier, etc.)
  • Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Able to communicate accurately and concisely
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to organize and manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in an ever-changing environment

Qualifications and Skills
