Patient Services Representative

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and schedule all providers and patient appointments.
• Prepare patient charts during check-in.
• Greet patients and maintain an effective and efficient registration process.
• Obtain and enter demographic and insurance information into the system.
• Collect any co-pays shown on patient accounts.
• Schedule patients accurately and effectively for appointments.
• Notify patients of collection policies and procedures.
• Take accurate and complete phone messages for providers and staff.
• Route calls to the appropriate department when needed.
• Notify appropriate staff when supplies are needed and follow standard supply protocol.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year customer service or reception experience.
• 1+ year medical office experience.
• 1+ year experience working in an EMR system.
• Willingness and ability to work and travel between all three clinic locations.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Pay

$19.00 - $22.00 / Hourly

Schedule

First (Day) shift, full-time, on-site.
