Patient Services Representative

About the role

The Patient Services Representative position at IVF Florida in Coral Gables, Florida is available immediately. This role supports the patient experience and helps maintain patient accounts.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors to the office
• Assist with incoming telephone calls
• Schedule appointments using a computerized system and follow up as needed
• Provide timely and accurate information to patient inquiries
• Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal, financial, and insurance information

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma; Associates degree preferred
• At least 1 year of experience in a hospital or medical office setting
• Extensive knowledge of insurance/benefits, medical terminology, and medical billing
• Experience in women's health, OB/GYN, or fertility field preferred
• Bilingual Spanish speaking strongly preferred
• Knowledge of office procedures and equipment (computer, fax, copier)
• Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
• Able to communicate accurately and concisely
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to organize and manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Schedule

Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with the ability to float to the Pembroke Pines office as needed.
