Responsibilities
- Appointment scheduling
- Patient check‑ins
- Payment handling
- Data collection
- Verifying patient eligibility for insurance and healthcare programs
- Guiding patients and visitors
- Carrying out administrative duties
The Patient Services Representative delivers exceptional customer service in person and via telephone, establishes professional and respectful relationships with patients, and works in a fast‑paced environment requiring a friendly demeanor, strong dedication to service, adept decision‑making abilities, and composure under pressure.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1‑3 years of customer service, administrative support and/or office experience, preferably in a health‑care setting
- Computer skills; experience with MS Office Suite preferred; EPIC EMR a plus
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work with a low‑income, diverse population dealing with behavioral and physical health issues

Pay
Wage Range: $19.83 – $21.36 per hour
Schedule
Monday Through Thursday – 8:00 am – 7:00 pm; FTE: 1.0. This position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement.
