Responsibilities

• Appointment scheduling
• Patient check‑ins
• Payment handling
• Data collection
• Verifying patient eligibility for insurance and healthcare programs
• Guiding patients and visitors
• Carrying out administrative duties
• Establishing professional and respectful relationships with patients
• Maintaining a friendly demeanor and strong dedication to service
• Exercising adept decision‑making abilities and composure in high‑pressure situations

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1‑3 years of customer service, administrative support, and/or office experience, preferably in a health care setting
• Computer skills; experience with MS Office Suite preferred; EPIC EMR a plus

Skills

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work with a low‑income, diverse population dealing with behavioral and physical health issues

Pay

Wage Range: $19.83 - $21.36 per hour

Monday Through Thursday - 8:00am - 7:00pm (FTE: 1.0)
