About the role

The Patient Services Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families, ensuring smooth patient flow through the clinic.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and their families, directing them to appropriate departments or staff members
• Assisting patients with registration and insurance verification
• Managing patient wait times and scheduling appointments
• Handling inquiries regarding clinic policies and procedures
• Ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for all patients

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology helpful
