As a Patient Service Representative (PSR), you will be a key member of the practice team, partnering with physicians, managers, and support staff to deliver an exceptional patient experience and ensure efficient day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities
- Welcoming patients and performing patient check-in and check-out functions with professionalism and compassion.
- Preparing for patient visits by reviewing schedules and ensuring all necessary information is available.
- Scheduling patient appointments and coordinating follow-up visits as needed.
- Answering routine questions in person and over the telephone while providing exceptional customer service.
- Performing clerical responsibilities including copying, scanning, faxing, sorting, and distributing mail.
- Creating, maintaining, filing, and organizing patient health record information.
- Coordinating with insurance providers and handling pre-authorizations and certifications as necessary.
- Protecting patient privacy and contributing to a safe, efficient, and welcoming practice environment.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and relevant experience and/or training.
- Clear understanding of the importance of patient satisfaction and safety.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree, previous medical receptionist or general office experience, and knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Schedule
Full-Time position, Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm.
Pay
$20.63 - $25.71 per hour
