About the role

Boston Vision is an academic private practice dedicated to improving patient experience and advancing medical care through innovation. Founded in 2000, the practice focuses on delivering high-quality care by balancing scientific excellence with patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for the practice
  • Assist patients with scheduling appointments
  • Maintain patient records
  • Tend to incoming phone calls
  • Check patients in and out of their appointment
  • Greet and welcome all patients upon arrival
  • Verify personal information (name, address, insurance)
  • Take and balance copays and batches
  • Maintain a current understanding of insurances
  • Process mail, faxes, and scans
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Effective communication and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to solve problems as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong candidate should have the ability to provide situational leadership
  • Exceptional diplomatic communication skills
  • Experience in handling difficult customer situations

Pay

  • Full-time, 40 hours/week
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm
