About the role
Our Outpatient Rehab center located in Monroe, NJ is looking for a part-time Patient Service Associate to join our team. This position is part-time, 20 hours per week. There is flexibility in the hours/day, but ideally the employee can stay until closing (7:30 PM) for 2 evenings each week.
The Patient Service Associate handles patient scheduling, registration, insurance verification, insurance authorizations, office management tasks of supply ordering, faxing/scanning, and interdepartment communication with the healthcare team.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED (Required)
- 4+ years of customer service experience (Required)
- 2+ years of medical experience (Preferred)
- Thorough knowledge of third-party insurance coverage guidelines
- Advanced degree may be considered in lieu of experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)

Pay
Salary Range: $17.75 - $28.33/Hourly
