This essential position ensures that patient scheduling and insurance prior authorization needs are met while supporting the broader administrative and patient service functions of the practice.

Responsibilities

• Cook up and manage patient scheduling for appointments, procedures, and follow-up visits.
• Process procedure appointments and ensure completeness for clinical review.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for patients—answering questions, assisting with forms, and providing outstanding customer service.
• Maintain accuracy of patient records and documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to support smooth, efficient operations.
• Handle general front-desk duties including check-in, check-out, phone calls, and insurance verification.

Requirements

This position requires six months of medical office experience. No additional certifications or licenses are required. Proficient computer skills are preferred.
