Patient Service Specialist (Gynecology) - FT/80

About the role

The Patient Service Specialist will contribute to an efficient, well-organized office and a pleasant, cooperative team environment. This position involves cross-training in all reception areas.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and expeditiously register patients
• Respond to requests for patient-specific and practice-specific information
• Operate and maintain office equipment
• Accurately prepare and maintain patient charts

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Six (6) months’ customer service/clerical experience, including computer operation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Skills in database management, word processing, spreadsheet, and/or presentation software

Pay

Base rate: $19.00 - $22.50 per hour. The final rate will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
