Patient Service Specialist

About the role

As a Patient Service Specialist, you will manage both the patient side and the business side of our outpatient physical therapy centers. You'll greet and register patients, provide information about their visits and upcoming appointments, schedule appointments, communicate with various stakeholders, collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance verifications.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about their visit and next appointment
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Communicate with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies, translation services, operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients
• Manage payer approvals
• Conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of front desk experience
• PREFERRED: Bilingual (English/Spanish speaking)
• Healthcare experience

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to pass a drug screen

Pay

$18.00 - $19.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule

Monday - Friday
