Patient Service Specialist (PSS)
Responsibilities
- Process referrals
- Schedule patients
- Complete the intake process
- Data entry
- Insurance verification and pre-authorization
- Review of benefits with patients
- Copay collection
- Arrive and schedule patients
- Billing reports
- Closing report
- Other tasks as needed
Requirements
- Flexible with hours/hours subject to change
- Must be organized, adaptable, and able to work well with others or independently
- Preferred: Customer service experience, knowledge of insurance verification, healthcare, medical, or dental office administration
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
Benefits
Compensation depends upon candidate’s years of experience and internal equity.
Pay
Starting salary: $18 - $25 per hour based off experience
Schedule
Hours: Mon-Thurs 3p-7p Fri 8a-1p
