Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) is a locally owned and managed healthcare provider serving Moore, Lee, Cumberland, Chatham counties and the surrounding six counties. With over 130 providers, approximately 750 employees, and 16 locations, PMC offers a broad range of primary and specialty care services, utilizing the latest advances in medical technology while maintaining a physician‑led, patient‑centered approach since 1952. As a Patient Service Representative (PSR) you will act as an essential liaison between patients and medical support staff, greeting and directing patients, managing check‑in/out, scheduling appointments, handling payments, and supporting the clinic’s mission of high‑quality care.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors promptly, courteously, and helpfully; answer requests for information.
• Check in patients, verify and update necessary information, acknowledge patients, and check patients out.
• Keep patients informed of the physician’s timetable when it may affect waiting times.
• Advise patients on financial obligations such as co‑payments, deductibles, and insurance eligibility.
• Maintain a neat and orderly lobby, including keeping magazines current.
• Maintain and coordinate physicians’ schedules; retain thorough knowledge of physician specialties and medical practices.
