About the Opportunity:The PATIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE role is designed to support clinical teams by managing patient interactions and administrative processes efficiently. This position ensures accurate patient information management, facilitates appointment scheduling, and supports overall service and financial goals. The role contributes directly to enhancing patient experience and operational effectiveness within the care setting. Responsibilities:Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility through electronic systemsUpdate and confirm patient demographic and insurance informationHandle patient-related phone calls in accordance with departmental standardsPrioritize and respond to urgent patient needs, escalating to providers as necessaryEducate patients about managed care plans and referral proceduresMaintain and coordinate patient schedules for various medical servicesCommunicate scheduling changes to patients and providersAssist in training new staff membersPerform additional duties as assigned Requirements:High School Diploma or GEDMinimum of one year customer service experience in a clinical environmentMinimum of one year experience with Electronic Medical Records systems (EPIC preferred)Must be at least 18 years old Pay Range and Compensation Package:The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
