Responsibilities

  • Aiding patients using the kiosk prior to registration.
  • Escort patients needing emergency assistance to the treatment area.
  • Handle Physician and Nurse requests promptly.
  • Communicate billing policies and provide itemized bills.
  • Register patients accurately and courteously.
  • Verify patient information and answer billing questions.
  • Collect payments and issue receipts.
  • Process charges and discharge patients.
  • Manage cash and file paperwork.
  • Answer calls and distribute messages.
  • Assist with various tasks as directed.
  • Understand and operate the electronic medical record system.
  • Stock and clean office areas.
  • Run and verify daily reports.
  • Attend staff meetings.
  • Be available to assist during breaks and meal times.
  • Operate and maintain medical and office equipment.
  • Participate in maintenance tasks.
  • Provide positive and friendly service.

Requirements

  • Age 18 or older.
  • Basic typing skills.
  • One year of clerical experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Excellent communication skills (visual, verbal, written, and typed).
  • Prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Willingness to work at any center.
