Responsibilities
- Aiding patients using the kiosk prior to registration.
- Escort patients needing emergency assistance to the treatment area.
- Handle Physician and Nurse requests promptly.
- Communicate billing policies and provide itemized bills.
- Register patients accurately and courteously.
- Verify patient information and answer billing questions.
- Collect payments and issue receipts.
- Process charges and discharge patients.
- Manage cash and file paperwork.
- Answer calls and distribute messages.
- Assist with various tasks as directed.
- Understand and operate the electronic medical record system.
- Stock and clean office areas.
- Run and verify daily reports.
- Attend staff meetings.
- Be available to assist during breaks and meal times.
- Operate and maintain medical and office equipment.
- Participate in maintenance tasks.
- Provide positive and friendly service.
Requirements
- Age 18 or older.
- Basic typing skills.
- One year of clerical experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Excellent communication skills (visual, verbal, written, and typed).
- Prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Willingness to work at any center.
