Patient Service Representative
About the role
The Patient Service Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and support. You will be responsible for greeting patients, answering their questions, and assisting them throughout their visit.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and escort them to the appropriate department
- Answer patient inquiries regarding treatment options, insurance coverage, and appointment scheduling
- Ensure patient comfort and satisfaction during their visit
- Handle administrative tasks such as updating patient records and maintaining a clean, organized waiting area
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
Qualifications
- Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required
- Positive attitude and ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
