Patient Service Representative

Old Bridge Dental is looking for a Patient Service Representative in Old Bridge, New Jersey, to join our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction in a team-based environment. The role supports all staff members and patients by handling inquiries, scheduling, and assisting with treatment plans through acceptable financial arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge patients upon arrival and dismissal with a smile
• Respond to patient questions and concerns according to office policies
• Answer telephones and handle patient inquiries
• Schedule and confirm appointments
• Maintain the appointment book and follow up on no-shows or cancellations
• Register patients on the sign-in sheet
• Post charges and payments to patient accounts
• Check voicemail daily
• Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area

Requirements

• 1 year of experience working in a dental, medical, or other healthcare office (preferred)
• Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus
• Experience answering telephones
• Exceptional customer service skills

Pay

$22–$25 per hour

Schedule

• Full-time: Monday 11am–7pm, Tuesday 7am–3pm, Wednesday 9am–5pm, Thursday 7am–4pm, Friday off
• One weekend shift per month (Saturday or Sunday, 8am–2pm)
