The Role at a glance

The Patient Services Representative is responsible for coordinating daily activities between the Culinary and Transportation teams to ensure quality metrics and service standards are consistently achieved. This hands-on role requires excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and a customer-focused approach to proactively resolve operational challenges while supporting exceptional service delivery.

What you'll be doing

  • Cooking Services Representative is responsible for coordinating daily operations between Culinary and Transportation departments to ensure quality and performance metrics are met.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Utilize computer systems to document activities, communicate updates, and complete operational reporting.
  • Work independently while effectively prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Assist with other operational duties as assigned.

  • Mississippi State Hospital
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to load, unload, and transport food and supplies as needed.

Schedule Requirements

  • Operation is open seven days a week.
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Schedule flexibility is required, with shifts that may begin as early as 4:00 AM or end as late as 8:00 PM.
