Responsibilities

• Provide secretarial and phone support using strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Correctly obtain and enter patient information.
• Handle patient scheduling.
• Manage filing, electronic and phone messages.
• Track outgoing referrals.
• Address patient balances and charge entry within the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, clerical inventory, copying.
• Answer a high volume of incoming calls from patients.
• Work with providers, managers, and staff to promote quality and cost‑effective daily operations.
• Maintain good interpersonal relationships with patients, families, the public, and co‑workers.
• Collaborate with all staff to assist patients and facilitate successful patient interaction with the practice team.
• Reflect and carry forward the mission and goals of the practice internally and throughout the community.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in healthcare.
• Proven “team player” experience.
• Demonstrated experience with computer use.
