Patient Service Rep - Physical Therapy

About the role

Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is seeking a Patient Service Representative to assist patients and their families. This role involves providing warm, friendly, and considerate assistance at the hospital and clinics.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between patients of all ages and the professional staff of the hospitals and clinics.
• Perform a combination of clerical, reception, and business duties.
• Ensure patients and their families receive warm, friendly, and considerate assistance.
• Work effectively under minimal supervision.
• Create a healthier Hawai‘i by providing excellent communication and customer service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of clerical support experience in a position with public contact or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Health Administration or related field.
• Medical terminology course.
• One year experience in a physician’s office or outpatient clinic setting.
