Patient Service Rep - Kahala, Administration

About the role

The Patient Service Representative position at Straub Kahala Clinic & Urgent Care is part-time, working 8 hours per day, either on a day shift or evening shift. This position is not unionized and is exempt from bargaining. It is a regular full-time employee position with a rate of pay ranging from $24.83 to $26.14 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Interview, register, admit, update, and create patients' medical records
• Process accurate and timely professional/technical fees generated by department providers
• Perform cash handling and collection
• Facilitate clerical and reception responsibilities
• Assist in a variety of administrative tasks
• Act as a liaison between patients and professional staff

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of clerical support in a healthcare setting or related experience
• Basic computer skills

Skills

• Basic medical terminology
