Patient Service Rep - Family Medicine
About the role
Pali Momi Medical Center, with 118 beds and a medical staff of over 400 physicians, serves the communities of Central and West O'ahu. It offers a wide range of services, including an interventional cardiac catheterization unit, a minimally invasive surgical suite, a women's center, CT and MRI services, and a retina center. The hospital is known for its innovative approaches, such as a team triage approach in the emergency room and family practice medicine at satellite clinics.
Responsibilities
- Helping patients and their families receive warm, friendly, and considerate assistance.
- Liaising between patients and the professional staff in the Neurology department.
- Aiding with administrative tasks including interviewing, registering, admitting, updating, and creating patients' medical records.
- Processing accurate and timely professional/technical fees generated by department providers.
- Performing cash handling and collection.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of clerical support in a healthcare setting or related experience.
- Basic computer skills.
Qualifications

- Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.

Skills
- Basic medical terminology.
- Experience with EPIC.
