About the role
The Patient Service Representative (PSR) is the initial point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a positive and efficient patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations and workflows
- Interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Use basic computer skills for data entry and word processing
- Provide excellent customer service, handling inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail, especially when entering patient information, scheduling appointments, and processing documentation
- Ensure confidentiality and follow privacy policy/procedure
- Work effectively under pressure, handling unexpected situations with professionalism and composure
- Attend and complete Clinic Core Front Desk Training post-hire
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and word processing
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Confidentiality and following privacy policy/procedure
- Adaptability and ability to work under pressure
Qualifications
- One year of applicable medical office experience preferred
