About the role
Provides patient safety monitoring through visual and digital surveillance, ensuring high-risk patients are protected from falls, elopement, and disruptive behaviors.
Responsibilities
- Performs continuous remote or one-on-one monitoring
- Communicates observations to the clinical team
- Documents patient activities accurately
- Assists with patient care and hazard removal when bedside monitoring is required
- Maintains constant patient observation
- Reports safety issues
- Follows departmental protocols
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Certifications such as BLS
- Critical thinking
- Attention to detail
- Effective communication
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Prior healthcare experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
Key Duties
- Conduct hourly rounds
- Redirect patients verbally
- Report safety concerns
- Support patient-centered care

- Manage multiple monitor screens and patient interactions
Working Conditions
