Patient Safety Attendant PRN

About the role
As a Patient Safety Attendant, you will play a vital role in protecting patients at risk for falls, injury, or self-harm. From your remote station, you will closely monitor their physical and emotional well-being and communicate concerns in real time, empowering the care team to respond quickly and improve lives.
Responsibilities
- Watch patients with continuous focus to ensure their safety and well-being
- Identify risks such as falls or self-harm and promptly alert the care team to intervene
- Document patient activity and changes with accuracy and clarity throughout your shift
- Honor patient privacy by safeguarding confidential information at all times
- Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to foster a culture of compassion, respect, and teamwork
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
- Previous patient care experience in a healthcare facility is preferred
