Patient Relations Analyst - Bilingual Spanish Required

Responsibilities

Aid patients in understanding Medicare and insurance issues, including coverage, benefits, summaries, eligibility, and maximizing their plan.

Function as an internal resource in the clinic for insurance questions for providers and staff.

Help patients navigate the healthcare system, assist in resolving medical bills both within and outside of Oak Street Health, and advocate for patients.

Manage the welcome visit and orientation process for new Oak Street Health patients.

Inform patients about applying for public benefits such as Public Aid and Extra Help for prescription drugs.

Collaborate with the clinic management team on operational activities, including scheduling and billing.

Provide exceptional customer service and foster patient engagement through events and initiatives.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Computer skills: Ability to quickly navigate and use multiple computer programs, including Gmail, MS Word or Google Docs, Excel, etc.
  • US work authorization
  • Strongly Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in non-English languages like Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by people in the communities we serve (where necessary) as required by center's demographics
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with helping patients or customers understand their insurance coverage, a passion for working with others to create an unmatched patient experience, a problem-solving orientation and a flexible and positive attitude, sales background preferred, experience with and a supportive attitude toward our patient population of older adults, CRM experience a plus
  • Bachelor degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Experience helping patients navigate the healthcare system, especially related to Medicare and Managed Care

Benefits

The typical pay range for this role is $21.10 - $44.99. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
