Patient Registration Representative
About the role
Join a supportive, close-knit team in Sanford, Maine—just a short drive to Southern Maine’s beaches, lakes, and outdoor recreation. In this entry-level role, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, helping guide them through their healthcare experience from the moment they arrive.
Responsibilities
- Handle registration and patient identification
- Serve as a liaison between patients and clinical teams
- Support families with care and professionalism
- Work in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Gain experience in diverse patient populations and real-time care environments
Requirements
- Computer and data entry experience with Microsoft Word, e-mail, and internet communication
- Able to work accurately and effectively with electronic systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Related experience in healthcare or customer service is preferred
