Patient Registration Representative

About the role

The Patient Registration Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families. This role involves assisting patients with registration processes, answering inquiries, and ensuring a smooth patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with registration processes including insurance verification, demographic information, and payment options.
• Answer patient inquiries regarding hospital policies, procedures, and services.
• Ensure accurate and timely entry of patient information into the electronic health record system.
• Handle patient complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay updated with hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Experience with electronic health records systems is beneficial.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is advantageous.

Pay

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
