Patient Registration Representative

About the role

Responsible for performing multiple customer-focused Patient Registration tasks (pre-registration verification, limited financial counseling, scheduling and follow up appointments, and co-pay collection). Responsible for working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical setting. Must be flexible and willing to work in different physical locations and roles as needed to meet customer needs. Expected to report as needed during periods of inclement weather, disasters, and state's of emergency.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-registration verification
• Provide limited financial counseling
• Schedule and follow up appointments
• Collect co-pays
• Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical setting
• Be flexible and willing to work in different physical locations and roles as needed
• Report as needed during periods of inclement weather, disasters, and state's of emergency

Requirements

• Ability to work independently
• Previous registration and scheduling experience preferred
• Knowledge of EPIC systems and/or other registration applications referred
• Excellent customer service skills are required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Graduate or Equivalent
• 1 Year job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Care Admin - Registration
