Responsibilities

• Obtains and enters patient information into the computer system accurately
• Requests the appropriate identification cards (i.e. insurance cards) and paperwork required through the interview process
• Obtains provider orders electronically or from the patient
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other team members
• Follows HIPAA compliance
• Ensures all patients have a diagnosis
• Manages completion of consent forms for patient financial responsibility and consent of treatment

Requirements

• No experience required
• On the job training essential

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Skills

• Strong Communication Skills
• Ability to remain calm
• Maintain accurate and concise documentation
• Operate a computer for data entry
