Patient Registration Associate - Department of Surgery
Position Summary
The Patient Registration Associate (PRA) supports all Divisions within the Department of Surgery, as well as the Highland Procedures Center. Responsibilities include greeting patients and visitors, verifying patient demographics and insurance, scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and handling telephone inquiries. Accurate and timely input of information into hospital information systems is required. Manages patient flow and communicates effectively with patients and staff to enhance patient-centered care and operational efficiency. Must follow established policies and demonstrate ICare values.
Salary Range
Salary Range: $18.50 - $24.98 hourly
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED; or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Two years previous office experience; medical office experience preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: None required.
