About the Role

This position is responsible for accurate patient registration, verifying insurance coverage, and obtaining necessary authorizations in a hospital setting. The role emphasizes customer service, attention to detail, and insurance verification expertise.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients, relatives, or responsible individuals to gather demographic, insurance, and financial information.
• Perform bedside registration using carts/computers to ensure timely check-in.
• Verify insurance benefits, obtain pre-certifications/authorizations, and process all necessary signatures for treatments and information release.
• Ensure charts are complete, accurate, and processed according to workflow standards.
• Explain policies regarding services, billing, and payments to patients.

Requirements

• Preferred 1 year of related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
