Job Summary
As a Patient Registrar Float PRN with Medical City Dallas, you will be responsible for timely and accurate patient registration, interviewing patients for all pertinent account information, verifying insurance coverage, providing exemplary customer service, ensuring charts are completed and accurate, calculating and collecting patient liability amounts, processing patient charts, assigning insurance plans, verifying insurance benefits, obtaining pre-certification/authorization, securing necessary signatures, obtaining copies of necessary identification and insurance cards, understanding/explaining policies regarding services, pricing, insurance billing, and payment of account.
Qualifications
- 1 year of related experience preferred.
- Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
