Patient Nutrition Rep

About the role

Responsible for patient meal service on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, delivery and pickup, special requests and needs, and in-between meal food delivery.

Communicate patient food issues, concerns, and needs to team members within the department and interact with nursing employees regarding patient nutrition needs or requirements.

React accurately and effectively to all changes to ensure efficient timing of services and accuracy of physician-ordered modified diets.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) (preferred)
• No prior work experience required
• Six months of previous food service experience in a hospital setting (preferred)
• No licenses or certifications required
