About the role
The Patient Navigator guides patients through the healthcare process. They are responsible for ensuring that the healthcare system meets the needs of the patient as best as possible. The navigator will communicate with patients and their families regarding their procedure, preparation, recovery and follow up as well as communicate with referring physicians. The navigator helps reduce fears about the procedure by explaining what the patient can expect and answer all questions.

Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Three (3) years of previous clinical RN nursing or RN patient navigator experience
Qualifications
- Required: BLS
- Certification in nursing specialty
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage patient expectations
- Knowledge of healthcare processes
