About the role
Responsible for managing the pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with all regulations, and providing quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations including inventory management, medication dispensing, and customer service.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding prescription drug distribution and patient safety.
- Manage staff, set performance goals, and provide training and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and medication access.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field.
- Current license to practice pharmacy in the state.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a pharmacy setting.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical compounding practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
