About the role

The Patient Financial Services Associate II role is responsible for the specific set of patient accounting which could include the appropriate billing, training, and/or follow up/denial resolution of insurance claims within filing limits to support the proper account completion and closure.

  • Supports the proper account completion and closure by handling patient accounting tasks.
  • Handles insurance claims within filing limits.
  • May involve billing, training, and/or follow up/denial resolution.

Requirements

  • One year in a related healthcare field required.
  • Hospital or provider-based billing experience preferred.
  • Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Patient Financial Services Associate I role.
