Responsibilities

• Makes outbound calls pre-service to patients with upcoming services scheduled with Mosaic Lifecare.
• Maintains a professional and courteous tone of voice and communication with patients.
• Reviews patients' estimated out-of-pocket amounts due for services and requests payment over the phone.
• Communicates the Mosaic Lifecare Financial Assistance Policy and evaluates patients' needs.
• Discusses out-of-network and non-covered services with patients to prepare them for potential out-of-pocket expenses.
• Reviews and confirms patients' insurance eligibility for the date of service.
• Researches patients who are not eligible for coverage to identify alternative coverage options.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or Associates Degree is preferred.
• One to two years of experience with pre-access services policies is required.
