Patient & Family Engagement Coordinator - Clinical Labs (JR222913)

About the role

The Patient & Family Engagement Coordinator will work within the Clinical Labs department to support patient and family engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient and family engagement in clinical care processes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve communication and understanding between patients/families and healthcare providers.
• Facilitate patient and family advisory councils and committees.
• Conduct outreach and education programs to promote patient and family involvement in decision-making processes.
• Assess and report on the effectiveness of engagement efforts and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (healthcare, social sciences, etc.)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in patient/family engagement or related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Knowledge of health policy and regulations.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
