Key Responsibilities

  • Provides positive and effective customer service to patients, families, and visitors
  • Greets, screens, directs, and registers patients
  • Schedules patient encounters, monitors daily schedules and coordinates flow to optimize patient experience
  • Accurately collects, verifies, and records all patient demographic and insurance information
  • Completes medication prior authorizations
  • Completing routine clerical support as needed to the transplant unit
  • Accurately record dialysis statistics in excel
  • Fax/upload records as required
  • Create patient encounter in Epic
  • Order and stock supplies and inventory
  • Processing Engineering requests
  • Generating patient labels and identification bracelets

Requirements

Pay

The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, along with every other Saturday from 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. When working a Saturday, the employee would have Wednesday off that same week.
