Patient/Equipment Transporter - as-needed Mixed Shifts (Boise)

About the role

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID is hiring a Patient and Equipment Transporter. This position is responsible for the internal transport of patients and the distribution of assignment equipment.

What You Will Do

• Respond to all questions and requests in a timely manner, providing the highest degree of customer service to patients and staff alike
• Coordinates with team to dispatch transporters appropriately
• Execute established procedures for decontamination, inspection, delivery of equipment and customer service relations
• Demonstrate use of transfer techniques and equipment as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required
• Prior experience in customer service and/or patient care preferred but not required

Schedule

This position will be scheduled on an as-needed basis on weekends and weekdays for a variety of shifts.
