Patient Equipment Technician / Central Supply

Responsible for

• Decontaminate, and clean soiled patient medical devices according to prescribed procedures and aseptic techniques.
• Absorb and distribute cleaned patient medical devices to an established equipment par location by unit.
• Inspect, monitor, and verify patient medical equipment is in good working condition; remove from service for repair and/or maintenance.

Essential Functions

• Pick up and return items to decontamination room for reprocessing.

Education

• A High School Diploma or GED is required.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in hospital supply, preparing and distributing medical supplies and equipment is required.
