Job Overview

The Patient and Employee Safety Clinical Coordinator serves as a pivotal coordinator within the department. This role is instrumental in driving key initiatives in process optimization, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.

Essential Functions

  • Work closely with the Director of Patient and Employee Safety.
  • Perform administrative duties, including report generation and data compilation.
  • Assists leadership with departmental projects centered on program development, patient satisfaction and safety, workflow efficiency and regulatory alignment.
  • Streamlines cross-functional communication, ensuring information was accurately disseminated and followed up, with all inquiries resolved promptly and effectively.
  • Manages high-precision data entry and record-keeping, consistently meeting departmental standards for accuracy and reliability.
  • Provides flexible operational support by managing special assignments and ad hoc tasks to ensure seamless departmental workflow.
  • Responsible for high volume of data organization.

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • A College Degree Preferred; preferably Pre-Health/Pre-Med track.
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume workloads by leveraging multiple systems, including EMR platforms and internal portals, with speed and accuracy.
  • Excellent teamwork abilities and interpersonal skills.
  • Maintain a professional, empathetic, and courteous demeanor.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and organize complex workflows in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Prior experience in a medical setting and familiarity with medical terminology are preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
