Responsibilities

  • Conduct demonstrations and trainings with current and potential Tactile Medical patients on our products in their assigned area.
  • Build strong rapport with the patient through introduction to our product, discussion of financial options and closing the sale.
  • Deliver patient training and ensure they are able to use their product as prescribed.
  • Document patient interactions according to insurance and Tactile Medical requirements.
  • Contact patients within service level expectations to schedule and complete trainings and demonstrations.
  • Provide clear and thorough explanations of the patient’s financial responsibility for the product, insurance coverage, and finalize the sale.
  • Modify interactions to meet the patient’s individual needs during demonstrations and trainings.
  • Manage and respond appropriately to patient feedback and objections regarding the product, financial responsibility, and required paperwork.
  • Prepare for trainings and demonstrations by confirming appointment details with the patient, ensuring necessary equipment, supplies, documentation, and accessories are available.
  • Review, complete, and submit required paperwork with the patient and answer any questions.
  • Collaborate with territory partners to facilitate order completion, including collecting signatures on prescriptions or other documents required for insurance requirements.
  • Identify, escalate, and communicate problems, questions, or additional patient support needs to appropriate departments for follow-up.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience, 2+ years of experience in a patient facing, education/training, or highly advanced customer service role.
  • PREFERRED: Health related certification, medical device or healthcare industry experience.
  • Skills: Ability to lift 20 pounds, work remotely and travel to patients, provide clear written and verbal communication, empathize with patients and caregivers, think critically and make decisions in healthcare situations, interact professionally with diverse groups, organize and manage time efficiently, apply new information from learning modules, teach others, use technology to complete tasks, work independently, and overachieve results.
