Schedule
- Part Time (16 hours per week)
- Must be able to work AM & PM shifts
- Rotating weekends and holidays
Responsibilities
- Assembles meal trays and menus in accordance with guidelines
- Delivers patient meals to assigned areas
- Documents meals and calorie intake
- Rounds on patients in accordance with department expectations
- Communicates patient diets, delivery of meals, and special requests with the patient care team
- Maintains an organized and stocked galley
- Performs menu selections, tray assembly, catering rounds, tray delivery and retrieval, recording of intake/calorie counts, special requests, galley/floor stock maintenance, and nourishment delivery
- Communicates directly with nursing to obtain updated diet orders
- Responds to patient, family, and nursing needs
Requirements
- No prior experience required
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
