PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE/DIETARY AIDE (TEMPORARY)

About the role

Morrison Healthcare is hiring immediate temporary Patient Dining Associate/Dietary Aide positions at BJC Saint Peters, located at 10 Hospital Drive, Saint Peters, MO 63376. Online applications are accepted only. Schedules are temporary, alternating weekly with 3 days in one week and 4 days in the next, with shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and ensure compliance with nutritional requirements or restrictions.
• Work with the culinary team to accommodate dietary needs such as allergies, sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals accurately and promptly according to each patient's menu selection.
• Retrieve trays from patient rooms at assigned times and comply with regulatory standards.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and adhere to facility confidentiality and patient rights policies.
• Communicate issues or concerns to appropriate personnel and complete daily, weekly, or monthly reports as required.
• Ensure compliance with health and sanitation regulations and follow department infection control policies.
• Assist dietitians in managing patients who cannot eat through their mouth or have specific dietary needs.

Requirements

Prior patient dining and customer service experience is required. Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and maneuver food delivery carts.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and maneuver food delivery carts.

Pay

$17.50 per hour to $18.50 per hour.

Pay Range
