PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE (DIETARY AIDE) (PART TIME)

Job Summary

Morrison Healthcare is hiring a part-time PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE (DIETARY AIDE) at Baptist Easley Hospital. The position requires a valid Food Handler's card and offers a fixed pay rate of $18.00 per hour. This role involves assisting patients with their meal selections, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery, and adhering to regulatory standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and ensure compliance with nutritional requirements or restrictions.
• Work with the caregivers and culinary team to provide alternative meals for patients with allergies, sensitivities, or dietary preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals accurately and promptly.
• Retrieve and deliver meals according to assigned times, following HACCP guidelines.
• Communicate issues or concerns to appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Follow infection control policies and adhere to federal, state, and local health regulations.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Able to lift and move up to 100 pounds occasionally.
