PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE (DIETARY AIDE) (FULL TIME)
Job Summary
Morrison Healthcare is hiring immediate full-time PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE (DIETARY AIDE) positions at Thomas Hospital - 750 Morphy Avenue, Fairhope, AL 36532. Online applications are accepted only. The schedule is full-time, 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, with rotating weekends included. More details will be provided during the interview.
Requirements
- Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
- Fixed Pay Rate: $14.25 per hour
Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
- Basic computer and mathematical skills.
- Able to lift or move up to 100 pounds occasionally.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Help patients understand their menu selections and ensure compliance with nutritional requirements or restrictions.
- Work with caregivers and culinary team to determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies, sensitivities, or dietary preferences.
- Manage tray tickets and assemble meals accurately and on time.
- Comply with regulator agency standards, including federal, state, and JCAHO.
- Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food, cleaning work stations, and breaking down patient tray lines.
- Communicate problems or concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Complete daily, weekly, or monthly reports as outlined in Morrison Healthcare policies and procedures.
- Adhere to facility confidentiality and patient rights policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
